In consideration of all class participants, no children are allowed and please refrain from wearing perfumes.
Please be sure you have a good working knowledge of your sewing machine.
Important Note:
Prior to event, each participant must purchase their own book or pattern.
Due to time constraints of workshop, you must arrive with your fabrics pre-cut and be ready to sew.
Supplies:
You will need your sewing machine, 1/4" seam guide, thread to match your fabric, scissors, pins, etc.
Since you will arrive with pre-cut fabrics, you will only need a small ruler (ex: 6" x 18"), small cutting mat, rotary cutter, iron and a pressing surface.
Each quilter must have their own Gimme 5 & Make It Scrappy book.
Fabric Requirements:
1 1/8 yards lightest background fabric (fabric 1) - my fabric 1 is white solid
7/8 yard light background fabric (fabric 2) - my fabric 2 is white with tiny black dot
1 yard medium light background fabric (fabric 3) - my fabric 3 is white with gray print
3/4 yard bold accent fabric (fabric 4) - my fabric 4 is pink print
1 yard bold accent fabric (fabric 5) - my fabric 5 is black print
(Optional fabric needed but not required for workshop)
5/8 yard for binding
3 1/4 yards for backing
